Toss the following veggies into your juicer and discover how happy your body will feel when you feed it with whole foods.

CARROTS: In addition to it’s cancer prevention benefits, carrots provide vitamin A which helps prevent dryness in your skin which can cause acne, uneven skin tone, and wrinkles. If that’s not enough reason to start your day with carrots, when you juice carrots, the health benefits and nutrients are broken down and released making it easier for your body to reapt its benefits!

CUCUMBERS: The high water content in this green veggie helps flush out toxins, hydrate skin, and reduce puffiness and inflammation.

SPINACH: This superfood is loaded with vitamins and minerals that will help you feel and look your best. Popeye was proof of this powerful energy producing and bone strengthening food. Among the many benefits, this food also alkalizes the body helping maintain good digestive health and energy to get you through your day.

APPLES: There are many reasons why an apple a day can keep the doctor away…the high fiber content also helps cleanse your body while the vitamins and minerals can help strengthen your heart and reduce chances of developing skin diseases. And they taste delicious!

ORANGES: Strengthen your immune system by adding vitamin C enriched oranges to your daily diet; it’s antioxidents and vitamin A also help keep your skin glowing and looking it’s best.

Perhaps slightly less popular, but a fantastic addition to your juice is ginger! I have to admit, I was hesitant to add this root to my juice at first…but just a small amount adds a slight spiciness to it’s taste and a whole range of health benefits. From tummy aches, to soar throats…ginger helps ease all sorts of pains – even joint pain! My favorite benefit of giner is how it improves the absorption of nutrients in the body.

Hope this inspires you to start your week off right! When you’re busy planning your wedding and always on-the-go, juicing is a great way to be sure your body is functioning at it’s best. Try it…I promise you won’t regret it. You may even become addicted like I did.

Their reception was held at Aqua Bistro in Coral Bay. Stephanie and Adam fell in love with the slow-paced feel of Coral Bay which helped them narrow down their reception location. Aqua Bistro has such a nice ambiance; it was a charming intimate location for their dinner, dancing, and celebrating for the rest of the evening. 

I loved these last photos taken at their villa before the ceremony. Sometimes it’s nice to have a ‘first look’ before your ceremony to have a chance to capture more photos before your ceremony. These are just gorgeous…

Anisa and Shane had a beautiful sunset ceremony earlier this month. I wanted to share a few photos that I took of some of their details. During their ceremony, they included their two adorable little girls as part of a sand ceremony which was so sweet. After they exchanged their vows at Trunk Bay they had a lovely dinner catered by St. John Catering at their villa.

Bright tropical floral arrangements from Roses Too were the perfect pop of color for the table scape. Floating candles, tea lights, and pillar candles with bling added a nice ambience to their dinner table as well.

The birdcages were a nice accent around the pool outlining the dance floor space.

It was wonderful meeting Anisa and Shane’s family and children…we hope they were able to have a relaxing honeymoon! Best wishes!

Our crazy week of five weddings was a smashing success! We have fully recovered from all the heavy lifting and schlepping our decor and chairs around…being a wedding coordinator isn’t as glamorous (or as easy) as many people think! About 100 chairs and a million candles later…we are thrilled for all our happy newlyweds and wish them all the best!

We have been planning Kelly and Carlo’s big day for a year now…and we will miss them! Such a sweet couple and beautiful inside and out – it was so wonderful getting to know them and their families. Can’t wait to see photos of their wedding day…it was gorgeous!

Use lace to add romance to your invitations…I love the blend of lace with natural elements and colors.

I love veils…especially when they have a touch of lace!  This photo below is so romantic…the added lace creates such a soft look.

I love the idea below mixing baby’s breath, burlap, and lace! It’s a great combination to capture a natural, elegant, romantic feel…pefect for a beach wedding!

The photos below are a great example of how to use lace on your table. Use it as a napkin ring, runner, or bow around your candles. Lace adds such a nice subtle texture to your table…with the added detail in textures, you can keep your color pallet soft for a romantic look or add bright colors with your lace to add energy for a more festive look!

Adding lace to your cake is a great way to make it unique. I love this idea below using a colored piece of lace to make it pop against the white frosting.
