Last week Mary attended The Chapel Designers Conference in NYC! She has returned to St. John full of inspiration, ideas, creativity, and motivation to share all her knowledge!
It was the collaboration of many designers that helped make the conference so valuable. Some of the exciting designers Mary was able to chat with and learn from were David Beahm, Karen Tran, and Holly Chapple!
Below are the bouquets each of the designers created at the conference. Visit our facebook page for an up close photo of Mary’s fantastic creation! They were able to see David Beahm’s warehouse up close and personal as he gave tips on designing on a large-scale while Karen Tran gave the designers great tips on designing floral arrangements and tablescapes to really elevate your designs!
Stay tuned for more inspiration as Mary shares some exciting new trends, as well as photos all our new goodies to add to our decor inventory.
Watch out 2013…ISW is inspired and motivated to create the custom wedding of your dreams!
Thank you to Holly Chapple for sharing these great photos…check out her blog for more amazing floral inspiration at www.thefullbouquetblog.com

The lighting in the morning at Hawksnest Beach is absolutely beautiful! I captured some lovely photos of Katherine and Antony who were married last month.
Katherine and Antony were so sweet – and with a little one on the way…you could feel the love and excitement they have for their future together. So adorable!
I was thrilled that Katherine was okay getting her dress wet – the photo below is my favorite!
The above photo is exactly why we love morning weddings on Hawksnest…we had the beach all to ourselves on this gorgeous morning. The nice thing about a morning wedding is also that you have the rest of the day to enjoy! Hawksnest also has pavilions for rent for those wishing to have a casual reception or Beach BBQ while savoring in the view and location.
Thanks to Jessica from Roses Too for her beautiful bouquet!
Sending our love to Katherine, Antony and their growing beautiful family!
Yelena Rogers captured all of these beautiful photos taken for Erica and Marc’s morning wedding last month. What a beautiful way to enjoy your ceremony!
Their big smiles are contagious…love these photos!
There were able to capture some great photos on Maho Bay before boarding the boat for their ceremony.
Thank you to Erica and Marc for letting us be a part of your special day and we appreciate you allowing us to share your uniquely beautiful photos!
Cheers to many happy years together!

Chad and Michelle celebrated their romantic wedding ceremony on beautiful Trunk Bay in February. With the breathtaking beach pretty much all to themselves it was the perfect evening to soak in the beautiful views and love they have for each other.
Our beautiful bride, Michelle – love her smile!
Wishing Chad a Michelle all the best! Thanks for letting us share you wonderful photos!

We have a lot of couples ask about things to do with their guests while they are here on St. John.
Yesterday, I was able to go to The Baths on Virgin Gorda with my sister…and it truly is an incredible site to see! The Baths are giant boulder formations along the water’s edge of Virgin Gorda, creating unique caves and pools of crystal clear water to snorkel, swim, and wander through.
Here are a few photos I took from our trip…enjoy!
Your boat will anchor in as close as they can to shore so you can jump off and swim into the beach. There is a dock on the other side of the island if the water is too rough to swim in. Then you can take a taxi to get to The Baths.
Here is a photo of my sister walking through one of the boulders…most of the time you are squatting and bending over to make it through from area to area within the boulder formations. There are steps and ropes to guide you through small tricky spots.
Cheers to Island Style Weddings this week…We are celebrating our 11 year anniversary! It’s so wonderful when we have couples come back to us for a vow renewal ceremony… keep us in mind if you are thinking about renewing your vows in paradise. It is always so great to be able to keep in touch with our couples through the years – cheers to another great year for ISW!
I wanted to share some beautiful engagement photos of Mary and Jon who were just visiting St. John. We are so excited to work with them on all their wedding plans and details! Thank you to Blue Glass Photography for capturing these images!
I just love the shot above overlooking beautiful Trunk Bay. If you and your fiance are coming to visit St. John before your wedding day, set up an engagement photo session! You will not regret having such a special moment photographed in paradise – the photos are truly priceless.
The following photos were taken at Maho Bay…beautiful afternoon for a lovely couple!
Congrats to Mary and Jon’s engagement and thanks for selecting ISW to help ensure your special day is a flawless success! We are looking forward to it!
