any time of the day is a good time to have
your wedding on st. john, us virgin islands

beach weddings
Morning Weddings are spectacular! Early morning weddings are cool and excellent for capturing vibrant blue & green colors. Morning beach weddings are ideal from 8 - 9 am for more privacy and cooler temperatures. Sunset Weddings will take your breath away! Sunset weddings are great for capturing warm gold and red tones.

The beaches of St. John in the US Virgin Islands are some of the most beautiful in the world and gentle sea breezes prevail. Perfect for just the two of you or large groups. Trunk Bay is spectacular for sunset weddings where as Hawksnest's captures that early morning light just perfectly. Mary is familar with all of St. John's beaches and will guide you in the right direction.

villa weddings
In addition to the beaches, St. John also has the finest selection of villas overlooking the caribbean for that picture perfect wedding. Whether just for your reception or for your ceremony and reception, a villa provides an intimate setting for that cherished day.

historic ruins
The Annaberg Sugar Plantation Ruins, located within the U.S. National Park on St. John, provide a backdrop that is rich in history with extraordinary vistas of the Sir Francis Drake Channel. Annaberg Plantation is the ruins of a 19th century sugar mill. The remains of the stone buildings over insight into St. John's heritage and offer many picturesque sites for your wedding.

Peace Hill, again located in the National Park provides an extraordinary setting for your wedding. A small walk along a path leads you to the top of the hill. Once you reach the top, there is a fabulous 180 degree panoramic view of St. Thomas, Jost Van Dyke, Little Jost Van Dyke, the British Virgin Islands, and the turquoise water that surrounds them. A truly special place to say "I do".

If you are planning to hold your ceremony anywhere within the US Virgin Islands National Park, you must use a coordinator who holds an Annual Commercial Use Permit from the VI National Park. The VI National Park's guidelines state that the coordinator must hold the permit and liability insurance to host weddings in the VI National Park.

Your coordinator must hold a Annual permit which allows wedding coordination, not just an officiate. The additional vendors such as photography, video, florist must be paid through the wedding coordinator. This ensures that the vendors hold a valid US Virgin Islands business license. Individuals are not issued permits for weddings.

"Mary Bartolucci graciously agreed to take over the ceremony when our scheduled officiant was unable to obtain a day pass for the park. She had been recommended to us by the scheduled officiant who is a personal friend of hers. Mary Bartolucci took over seamlessly and demonstrated good nature (calling and then waiting for flowers that the florist had forgotten to deliver to the beach) and tremendous sincerity of presence on the day of the ceremony. Thank you!" - Mary & David, May, 2012
